Must-CSI-TV
Dec. 18th, 2005 09:57 amI am a huge CSI addict. I started watching the original, then when schedules shifted, I shifted to CSI: Miami, since I'd be home for it, and not always home for the 9 pm Vegas show. During my nine-month housewifeness, I got back into the original series as it aired twice a night on Spike (and they'd occasionally have daytime marathons, too).
I have this to say about the Grissom-Sara ship: Yes, he called her "honey," once, but to me, it didn't sound like a romantic "honey." It definitely sounded more parental to me. The lab had just blown up, Greg had been wheeled into an ambulance, other techs had injuries, and Sara was injured. He definitely sounded more like a concerned parent talking to a frightened child than a romantic interest talking to a romantic partner. The fact that in that VERY SAME EPISODE, he turned down her invitiation to dinner with a simple "No" doesn't seem to factor in.
This is one of the reasons I ship Snickers: Nick and Sara have a mutual appreciation thing going, and I'd love to see more of their friendship onscreen, and I'd love to see it evolve into something more. :)
And it may be just me, but George Clooney, in those Syriana ads, from some angles, looks a lot like William Petersen...and William Petersen, from some angles, looks a lot like George Clooney.
