sailorzeo: (it's on)

Yesterday, I was rear-ended on the way to work. No one was seriously injured (in fact, the other driver's little boy was seriously stoked about having been in an accident. Kids), but a police report was filed, and now I'm dealing with insurance and trying to get in to a doctor to get my back and neck checked out. I have a Friday appointment to get an estimate on my car at the insurance company's place, but I'm also going to swing by the dealership I usually go to, one, to see if they do body work, and two, have them give me an estimate, too, to make sure the insurance company doesn't try to underpay or whatnot. That was Matt's idea.

The company I'm dealing with this time seems to ask a lot more questions than the one I dealt with the last time I was rear-ended.

I have pictures, but I haven't pulled them off the camera yet.

Now here's hoping someone doesn't hit my other taillight on the way in today!

...and the thing that bothers me most? I haven't even had the car a year.

That sucks

I know its sucks to get your car hit when you haven't had it very long. After I got the Taurus in August of 99, it got hit in Oct 99. That really stunk. Drew's car has little golf ball-type dimples on it from the hail and he hasn't even paid the first car payment yet. I have been there and I empathize. At least you didn't get the ticket.
