I try, and I try, and I try.... Matt (supposedly) gets out of work at 8 pm. So I plan to have dinner ready around 8:30, which is when he usually gets home. However, due to the nature of the business, sometimes he's late, and can't get away to call me to tell me he'll be late.

Tonight is one of those nights. I made spaghetti with meat sauce. It's ready now. He just called to say he's JUST getting out of work.

At least the sauce can stay warm on the stove. Might need a hacksaw for the pasta in half an hour, though.

Toss the pasta with a little bit of olive oil and put it in a covered bowl. It'll be fine as far as not drying out.

I sprayed it with some canola oil and tossed it. Roommate's hungry now, so he's eating. I'm waiting for Matt. I'm just hoping getting out of work 40 minutes late means he sold a car.
