Zeo's Thoughts and Wanderings

(repeated conversation yesterday on my lunch break)

"What are those?"
"Dried hibiscus flowers."
(silence) "You eat those?"
"Yup."

Only one person I offered one to accepted. She said they were different, and interesting, and not that bad. She also managed to peg the texture: fruit roll-up like. The flavor, to me, is somewhere between a dried cranberry and a dried cherry. Red. They're high in antioxidants, and a natural refrigerant. I haven't eaten enough in one sitting to notice any difference in my temperature, though. Plus, a bag at Trader Joe's is only like a buck-fifty.

Side note, for blogofstench. I found the site with the Sims2 machinima I mentioned. http://www.atlas-enterprises.net/ I highly recommend the three-part series "Awakening." Each part is about 30 minutes long, IIRC.

Once again, I seriously wish Power Rangers was out on DVD. Not just half-seasons (and what is UP with that??? Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder both had just the first half of the season released), but everything, from "Day of the Dumpster" to the final ep of Dino Thunder. I seriously want to make a Red Ranger video to "Headstrong," because that song sums up just about every Red Ranger we've ever had, from Jason to Jack. That and I wouldn't mind digital quality first-season eps, when the boys could go shirtless on the beach, before parents raised a stink. I think after Tommy, briefly, in "White Light," the next shirtlessness on PR was Devin in Dino Thunder, ep. "Ocean Alert," and he wasn't even a Ranger!

I missed so much (pretty much Zeo through Lightspeed Rescue) because of first living in the dorms with a roommate who found PR silly, then having no cable and lousy Fox reception. I missed almost all of Judd Lynn's reign as King of GOOD Ranger scripts. If I remember, and am up early enough, I can catch some of them on ABCFamily's Power Ranger Generations, but they have a monkey working the control desk at that time of morning.

And on a completly unrelated note, looking at a pic of Lucius Malfoy from the movies, I had a sudden image of him as a LOTR-style elf. And I think Eiko's Potterverse Sims stories are rubbing off on me, because I actually felt sorry for Narcissa in HBP. See here: http://www.sims2community.com/showthread.php?t=2485
