Eek, my books were due today, I forgot, so I renewed most online. One had a request on it, so I couldn't renew it, but I'll drop them off tomorrow on the way home from work.
So, without further ado, my reviews.
Plane Insanity: A Flight Attendant's Tales of Sex, Rage, and Queasiness at 30.000 Feet
Elliott Hester
--I loved this book. Nonfiction, humor. Service industry workers, unite! If you've ever worked ANY form of customer service, you'll recongize a lot of the people in this book.
The Science and Fiction of Autism
Laura Schreibman
--This one, I'm not done with yet. It'll be kept through another cycle. I want to read this because of the presence of autism in my family tree. A cousin (son of my dad's first cousin...not sure what level cousin that makes him). Plus, friends think I might be somewhere in the autistic spectrum, so I wanted to learn more.
Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister
Gregory Maguire
Lost
Gregory Maguire
--Confessions, I forced my way through. Found it pretty "meh." Just didn't really grab my interest. I couldn't even get into Lost. Tried, failed. Makes me wonder if I'd make it through Wicked.
Impetuous Innocent
Stephanie Laurens
--Pretty standard Regency romance. Fluffy.
The Perfect Lover
Stephanie Laurens
The Ideal Bride
Stephanie Laurens
--Books seven and eight of a series. Didn't realize until I got them home. I don't like to start in the middle of a series.
A Great and Terrible Beauty
Libba Bray
Rebel Angels
Libba Bray
--Very good, even if AGATB reminded me a little of The Craft, but in Victorian times. :-P Rec'd them to my mom.
