So my parents brought me a breadmaker (mom picked it up free after the rummage sale). So I made a loaf of bread yesterday that went over well (it was gone by this morning). So I decided to try a recipe from a book...

So...um...the recipe made two loaves. And, um...the pan in the breadmaker wasn't quite that big.

So, now the apartment smells slightly of charred dough. Not _too_ bad, just like I burnt toast or something. So now I know to cut those recipes in half.
