On the other hand, Shamrock Shakes are necessary when creating my Girl Scout-inspired Thin Mint Shake. That's between 10% and 25% Shamrock, the rest Chocolate, and crunch up a handful of McDonaldland cookies.
I think I was 12 last time I had a shamrock shake, so seeing it on the menu brought back waves of nostalgia. While at first, yes, it was minty, when Matt asked me how my pistachio shake was, all of a sudden, it tasted pistachio to me.
Maybe it's just vanilla tinted green and we mentally add the flavors...
