Well, yesterday I did two things I never really anticipated ever doing. I joined Curves, and I waxed my chin. One was more painless than the other.

I decided to go ahead and join Curves since I stepped on the scale and did NOT like the number. First session is tomorrow. I had to go out and get workout clothing, since I didn't have any, at least none I can wear in public. Still need to get shoes. I looked at Target, but for some reason, shoe shopping depresses me. I couldn't find any information on what types of shoes they were. I want shoes that will support me, not just look pretty.

The waxing was because the plucking just wasn't keeping it under control. Oh holy cow, did that hurt, but it was so effective.

Do you have anything like "The Athlete's Foot" in America? Here they make you walk on a special measuring computer thingy and it reads your foot and your gait and indicates to the shop assistant what sort of shoe is right for you and for what you want to use it for.

Thanks for the JW info in my last post.

I've been thinking of getting an eyebrow wax shaping. I've been told it would be good for my eyes. *boggle* I never pay attention to that stuff. Though tonight I did do a mudmask. Delightful.

I like masks, both the clay/mud type and the peel-off type. It's fun to wait for the clay to dry and then pull all sorts of faces to crack it up. :) Plus, peel-offs have the same fascination as pulling off Elmer's Glue.
