sailorzeoMy hair is now five inches shorter. Why? Why not? Seriously, though, I'd been meaning to at least trim my hair for months now, and this morning I finally grabbed the scissors, split my hair into two hanks, gave each hank a twist, and cut off a handful on each side.
I can still ponytail it, only now, the ends of the tail hit just above the shoulderblades rather than almost my waist. Not really a big deal. I'd given some thought to going even shorter, but that would require professional assistance, and I don't trust hairdressers. They've never really given me the look/style/whatever I've requested. We'll see, though, once we hit Phoenix. Maybe desert life will inspire me to go shorter.
Or maybe I'll still just let it grow.
